1. Who we are

This website is run by SPEEDYS HANDYMAN LLC ("Speedy's Handyman," "we"), a Washington registered general contractor, WA Contractor Reg. # SPEEDHL745P1. This policy explains what we collect through speedys-handyman.com, our phone line and our text messages, and how we use it.

2. What we collect

When you call, text, email or use our request form, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the property address or city, and details and photos of the job. When you hire us we also keep quotes, invoices, payment records and job notes. When you use the booking calendar or quote form on our Contact page, Workiz and the providers it uses also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details and how you use the form (see Section 6).

3. How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, give you a quote, schedule and do the work, send invoices and receipts, follow up on the job, keep business records and improve our service. We don't sell your information.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as Workiz (scheduling, online booking, quote forms and invoicing) and the providers Workiz uses to run those forms (see Section 6), and Retell AI (phone answering and transcription). We also share it with the licensed contractors we hire for your job, such as a licensed plumber or our sister company, Speedy's Electrical, when your job needs one of them. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Phone calls

Calls to our line at (509) 518-3320 may be answered by an automated AI phone assistant, and calls are recorded and transcribed. We use the recordings and transcripts to follow up on your request accurately, keep job records and improve our service. The greeting tells you the call is recorded, and staying on the line means you agree. If you'd rather not be recorded, hang up and email us at office@speedys-handyman.com instead.

6. Cookies, embedded forms and analytics

Most pages on this website set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising scripts of our own. Our Contact page is different: it embeds our online booking calendar and quote request form, which are provided by Workiz, our scheduling and invoicing provider. When that page loads, the Workiz forms set cookies on the workiz.com domain and load services that Workiz uses, including: Cloudflare (security and bot protection; sets a cf_clearance cookie); FullStory (session analytics that can record how you use the form, including clicks and typing; sets fs_uid and fs_lua cookies); Amplitude (product analytics); Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the quote form; your use of it is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service); and Google Fonts and jsDelivr (fonts and code files). These providers can receive your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the forms, and they handle that information under their own privacy policies. We don't use these tools to advertise to you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the booking and quote forms may not work, so call (509) 518-3320 or email office@speedys-handyman.com instead. We'll update this section before we add any analytics or advertising tools of our own.

7. How long we keep it

We keep job, quote and invoice records as long as we need them for the work, warranties, taxes and the law. Messages and call records are kept for as long as they're useful for following up on your jobs.

8. Security

We use reputable service providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card numbers by email or text.

9. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Email office@speedys-handyman.com or call (509) 518-3320.

10. Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

11. Text messages (SMS)

What we text: quote and appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-ups on estimates, and replies to your questions. We don't send marketing texts.

How you agree: by saying yes on a call or by texting us first. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of purchase.

What we keep: your number, your consent record (when and how you agreed) and the messages. We don't sell or share mobile numbers or opt-in data with anyone for marketing.
